The potential improvements would take place in Boone and Kenton counties.

(Erlanger, Ky.) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 7 to provide information on a roadway reconfiguration project on Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) in Boone and Kenton counties. This is the first in a series of informational meetings that will take place regarding the project.
As part of a resurfacing project, and to enhance safety for all road users, a roadway reconfiguration on Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) between Turfway Road (KY 1017) and Commonwealth Avenue (KY 236) is planned. Drainage repairs have already taken place on this stretch of Dixie Highway. Crews are expecting to return in the coming weeks to address base failures to improve the road condition. KYTC will inform the public once base failure repairs have been scheduled.
Informational Meeting Information
The informational meeting will be an open house event:
Tuesday, April 7
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Elsmere City Building,
3921 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, KY 41018
Those who are interested may stop by during the open house to review the design, receive handouts containing project information and fill out comment sheets to provide citizen input. Representatives from KYTC and the engineering design consultant will be in attendance to answer questions.
Additional informational meetings are being planned within the cities of Florence and Erlanger. Once those meetings have been scheduled, KYTC will send out public notice via press release and a social media post.
If unable to attend the open house meeting, KYTC has provided a project website that includes information about the design, roadway reconfiguration facts and safety benefits.
