Ivy Tech, PAWS Of Dearborn Co. Partner For Annual Days Of Service Project

Press release from Ivy Tech Community College (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ivy Tech Community College will celebrate its seventh annual statewide Ivy Tech Days of Service February 25 through March 3. During this event, students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in hands-on service projects organized with community and non-profit organizations. “This is a wonderful opportunity for students, faculty and staff to come together to serve others, support community organizations and to learn more about the resources available in their local communities,” said Dr. Carey Treager, assistant vice president for student and career development at Ivy Tech. “Each campus will partner with service organizations in their community to provide projects for students, faculty and staff to complete together.” Project and/or volunteer locations include: Anderson: American Red Cross Blood Drive Bloomington Region: Bloomington Animal Care Control, Rise Against Hunger Columbus: American Red Cross Blood Drive, Bowl for Kids Sake Evansville: Habitat for Humanity, It Takes a Village, Holly’s House Fort Wayne: ACSPCA Indianapolis: Indiana Blood Center Blood Drive, Third Phase, Rise Against Hunger Kokomo: Dog Blankets Lafayette: Rise Against Hunger, Indiana Blood Center Blood Drive, Almost Home Humane Society Lake County (Gary/East Chicago): Fight Against Hunger Lawrenceburg/Batesville: PAWS of Dearborn County Humane Center Madison: Jefferson County Animal Shelter Marion: Homeland Mission Food Drive Michigan City: LakeShore PAWS Muncie: Second Harvest Food Bank Richmond: Lesotho Nutrition Initiative, Cope Environmental Center Sellersburg: J.B.
