The appointment of Chad Gutzwiller was made official Monday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Chad Gutzwiller, middle school teacher at Franklin County Community School Corporation, has joined the Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg and Batesville Campus Board of Trustees representing Franklin County and filling the education constituency on the board.
His appointment, which runs through June 30, 2022, has been approved by Ivy Tech’s State Board of Trustees.
Chancellor Mark Graver stated, “Mr. Gutzwiller brings 15 years of experience in education to the Lawrenceburg/Batesville Campus Board of Trustees. His educational background and years of teaching experience will provide the Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg administrative team with educational insight in strengthening and expanding the campus’ high school partnerships, dual credit/dual enrollment opportunities, and high school career pathways for Ivy Tech’s Lawrenceburg & Batesville service area, which includes Franklin County. We are very fortunate to have Chad on our team.”
Gutzwiller attended East Central High School and earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Ball State University.
Mr. Gutzwiller joined the Lawrenceburg Campus Board of Trustees for his first meeting on September 13th.
