(Osgood, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation, through its Ripley Youth Outreach program, hosted their annual Chalktoberfest art competition on September 19 in downtown Osgood.
Held in conjunction with Bricktoberfest, this event transforms Walnut Street into an outdoor gallery of colorful chalk murals inspired by this year’s theme, America’s 250th.
This year, artists competed in three divisions: adult, high school and junior high. The winners are:
Adult Division
1st Place – Megan Bauer
2nd Place – Michael Moffitt
3rd Place – Heather Reichert
High School Division
- 1st Place – Bella Weberding
- 2nd Place – Allie Peetz
- 3rd Place – Carmen Camarena
Middle School Division
- 1st Place – Lucy Yatsko
- 2nd Place – Ella Harrah
- 3rd Place – Samantha Strain
