(Franklin County, Ind.) - A box culvert replacement project has been scheduled along U.S. 52 in Franklin County.
According to INDOT, crews will close U.S. 52 near Brookville beginning on or around Monday, October 5.
The closure will occur between State Road 244 and State Road 1.
Work is expected to last through mid-November, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 1 to I-74 to State Road 3 to State Road 244. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
