The "wolfpack" patrols are expected to continue throughout the state.

On Friday, July 18th, Troopers for the Indiana State Police-Versailles Post conducted "wolfpack" patrols aimed at targeting motorists who were operating unsafely on our roadways and those who were committing criminal violations.
During a short time, troopers issued 52 citations and 83 warnings. Troopers arrested one intoxicated driver and made criminal arrests for drug violations and possession of drug paraphernalia. Citations were also issued for minor consumption and open container violations. Troopers additionally investigated three crashes, one involving personal injury, and conducted five commercial vehicle inspections.
As part of this patrol, troopers made numerous interstate checks and assisted multiple stranded motorists.
Troopers from around the state will continue to conduct weekly targeted patrols to make our roadways and communities safer.
