King & Queen Crowned at Versailles Pumpkin Show

Lawrenceburg and Rising Sun are represented

(Versailles, Ind.) - The Oldest Pumpkin Show in the state of Indiana kicked off on Wednesday night.

The first night of the Versailles Pumpkin Show featured the annual King and Queen contest. Being crowned King and Queen were Mateo Rico of Lawrenceburg and McKenna Phillips of Rising Sun.

Each received $1,500 in scholarships.

Ivy Tech awarded Rico and Phillips $1,000 each, while the Lions Club gave $500 each.
