Individual Income Tax Rates Increase In Switzerland County

The Indiana Department of Revenue says six counties will see income tax rates increase in 2021.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – Six Indiana counties will see their income tax rates increase in 2021.

Among the six counties is Switzerland County.

According to the Indiana Department of Revenue, Switzerland County’s new income tax rate will stand at 0.0125, up from 0.01.

The tax rate will be effective January 1, 2021.

County tax rates for individuals are based on the employee’s Indiana county of residence on that date. For individuals who are not Indiana residents on January 1, county tax rates are based on the individual’s county of principal business or employment on January 1.
