North Vernon Man Arrested Following Cyber Tip Investigation

The 25-year-old is facing Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material, and Bestiality charges.

(Jennings County, Ind.) - The Jennings County Sheriff's Office arrested Gabriel Guenthenspberger on March 30, following an extensive investigation initiated by a cyber tip received through the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Detectives conducted a thorough follow-up investigation which led to the execution of multiple search warrants at a residence and for several electronic devices. During the investigation, detectives located child sex abuse material (CSAM), as well as video evidence of Guenthenspberger committing lewd sexual acts with a baby calf, as well as the family dog.

Guenthenspberger, 25, of North Vernon, is currently being held in the Jennings County Jail on preliminary charges of Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material (Level 4 Felony), and Bestiality (Level 6 Felony).

Chief Deputy Cody Low stated, “This was a very extensive investigation that is still ongoing and more charges are likely. We are grateful for the strong partnerships with fellow agencies that make cases like this possible. The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office will aggressively track down individuals who victimize our children. We will proactively seek out child predators and hold them accountable.”

Detective Allen Ritchie added "Our agency will have zero tolerance for anyone committing acts against children. We will relentlessly pursue violators"
