Indiana State Police Continue to Investigate Double-Murder Nearly Five Years Later

Police are still seeking information about the deaths of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

(Delphi, Ind.) – Indiana State Police continue to investigate nearly five years after the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were found.

It was February 13, 2017, when Williams and German went missing while walking on a trail near the Monon High Bridge in Delphi.

A day later, their bodies were discovered.

Law enforcement continues to utilize county, local, state, and federal resources to accomplish the goal of finding their killer.

Indiana State Police continue to actively investigate all tips and leads they receive by phone or email.

Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact law enforcement by utilizing the tip hotline: abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.com or (765) 822-3535. Tipsters are asked to provide as much information as possible, including the name of the person of interest, their date of birth or approximate age, physical description, address, vehicle information, why they could be involved, and if they have a connection to Delphi.

“Working diligently every day with our county, local, and federal partners, we continue to give our very best efforts to solve this case,” said Superintendent of Indiana State Police, Doug Carter.  “Abby, Libby, their families, and the Delphi community deserve nothing less. We also continue to ask for tips to be submitted, because one day we will obtain that one piece of information we seek…the identity of the person responsible for this senseless crime.”
