Friday, June 30 Aurora, Indiana - Aurora's Red, White & Boom Festival will be held at Lesko Park on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1. Friday activities include free military vehicle rides, beer and wine booth (21 and older), live music, and a lighted boat parade. Military equipment will be on display both days. Batesville, Indiana - Eureka Band will perform a concert of patriotic songs at the Liberty Park bandstand starting at 8:00 p.m. Bring chairs or blankets. Osgood, Indiana - The Ripley County Chamber of Commerce hosts a night out with fireworks at the Ripley County Fairgrounds in Osgood. The evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. with food and craft vendors. The Keith Swinney Band will be performing on stage at 7:00 p.m. The evening will be topped off with a spectacular fireworks display. Entertainment is sponsored by Margaret Mary Health. Union, Kentucky - Union Celebrates America will be held Friday, June 30. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a parade U.S. 42. A fireworks display will begin at dark near the Union Community Building. Saturday, July 1 Aurora, Indiana - Aurora's Red, White & Boom Festival will be held at Lesko Park on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1. Saturday activities include free military vehicle rides, beer and wine booth (21 and older), craft show, River City Classic Car Show, live music, a lighted boat display, and fireworks at dark. Military equipment will be on display both days. Batesville, Indiana - Hillcrest Country Club will hold a fireworks display for members beginning at dark. Non-members may watch the fireworks for free from nearby public areas. Madison, Indiana - The Madison Regatta will include H1 Unlimited powerboat racing and a parade on Main Street. Live music throughout the day. Fireworks on the riverfront will begin at 10:00 p.m. Watch Madison’s fireworks from the overlook at Clifty Inn at Clifty Falls State Park. Activities start at 7:00 p.m. Food will be available for purchase. Metamora, Indiana - The Metamora Volunteer Fire Department hosts its annual Independence Day Festival at the fire station. Starting at 3:00 p.m. there will be pulled pork, burgers, and hot dogs. There will also be games, a bouncy house, and a beer garden (21 and older). A parade through Metamora will start at 6:00 p.m. A fireworks show will light up the sky at dusk. Milan, Indiana - The 2nd Annual Running Hog 5K Night Run/Walk will be held at Hoosier Links Golf Club starting at 7:30 p.m. Stay around for the fireworks show at Darren Baker Memorial Park at 10:00 p.m. Versailles, Indiana - Versailles State Park hosts its annual fireworks event at Versailles Lake starting at dusk. Visitors can enter the park for free from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. Monday, July 3 Florence, Kentucky - Florence will mark the Fourth with food, rides, music, a cruise-in, vintage baseball game and fireworks at UC Health Stadium from 4:00 until 11:00 p.m. Raid date is Tuesday, July 4. Rising Sun, Indiana - Rising Sun will host music and food on the riverfront from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Mike "Elvis" Davis performs. Tuesday, July 4 Brookville, Indiana - White's Farm Big 4th of July, part of Twilight Tuesdays, will start at 3:00 p.m. Come for the flea market, cornhole contest, beer garden, and more. Greendale, Indiana - The City of Greendale has a host of festivities on the 4th of July. The Greendale 4th of July 5K to benefit Voices of Indiana will begin at the Greendale Cabin at 8:00 a.m. The Kids Fishing Derby will be held at Schnebelt Pond with registration starting at 8:00 a.m., the derby from 9:00-11:00 a.m., and lunch for kids at noon. The Greendale Pool will have free admission from noon until 6:00 p.m. The Kids Bike Parade begins at 3:00 p.m. at Oakey Park and goes to Greendale Cabin with a free t-shirt to the first 200 kids. Harrison, Ohio - The Harrison Independence Day Celebration begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Harrison Community Center. Come for family entertainment, food, drinks, free kids activities and much more. Live Music by GENX. Fireworks at dusk. Hidden Valley, Indiana - A boat parade will be held on the Hidden Valley Lake at 6:30 p.m. on July 4th with prizes awarded to the best-decorated entries. Fireworks over the lake presented by United Community Bank will cap the evening. Milan, Indiana - The Milan Lions Club Independence Day Celebration begins with a parade at 10:00 a.m.(registration starts at Milan High School at 8:00 a.m.). Patriot, Indiana - The Town of Patriot will mark Independence Day with a parade starting at 10:00 a.m.
