Area Archers Perform Well at U.S. Eastern Nationals

LOUISVILLE - Several area schools traveled to Louisville May 8-10 for the 2025 NASP US Eastern Nationals. 

Batesville High School finished 26th out of 265 teams with a score of 3359 (163 Tens).

Lydia Haskamp and Trace Scott were the top performers for Batesville, both scoring 289 points with 21 Tens. 

Macy Young (287), Lilian Eckstein (284), Varshath Rajesh (283), and William Patterson (281) were among the other top performers. 

Jennings County was 38th, Ryle 71st, Boone County 102nd, Conner 146th, Madison 157th, Milan placed 195th, South Dearborn 196th, and South Ripley 210th. 

In the middle school division, Batesville placed 31st out of 252 teams with a score of 3268 (144 Tens). South Dearborn was 185th.

Jack Pulskamp was the top performer for Batesville with a score of 283 including 14 Tens. 

Batesville Intermediate School placed 13th out of 184 teams in the Elementary School Division. The Bulldogs had a team score of 3087 (94 Tens).

Gage Thompson led the Bulldogs with a score of 267 including 9 Tens.
