Councilman Dylan Liddle Applauds $325K Grant Award for Lawrenceburg Road Improvements

The state recently awarded nearly $110 million through the Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) program

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg City Councilman Dylan Liddle congratulated the City of Lawrenceburg following the announcement that the city has been preliminarily awarded $325,012.80 through Indiana’s Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) program for local road improvements in 2027.

Administered by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), the Community Crossings program provides state matching funds to help local governments maintain and improve roads and bridges while maximizing local infrastructure investments.

The 2027 funding will support paving, patching, and ADA improvements along portions of Center, Tate, Water, First, New, Charlotte, and Second Streets.

“Much of this year’s road improvement work focused on the beginning of Walnut Street and several areas throughout District 2. I’m glad to see next year’s projects build on that progress and expand improvements throughout our community,” said Liddle. “We’re fortunate to live in a community that continues to prioritize pursuing these grant opportunities to maintain our infrastructure and make the most of our local tax dollars.”

Liddle also recognized the city employees responsible for pursuing and securing the funding.

“I want to extend a special thank you to all of our city staff who put in the time and effort to pursue these grants and make these projects possible. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and our community is better because of it.”

The funding was announced in an October 28, 2026, award letter from INDOT. The preliminary award remains subject to the program’s contracting and documentation requirements.
