(Dearborn County, Ind.) - A cable barrier installation project will be moving to Dearborn County on or after Monday, June 7.

INDOT says work started near Greensburg last month, but will be moving east due to a supply shortage.

Excavation for the barrier installation will take place on Interstate 74 between Whites Hill Road and the Ohio state line.

Inside shoulder closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place while crews are active.

When the Dearborn County portion of the project is complete the contractor plans to return to the site near Greensburg.

The Indiana Department of Transportation advises motorists to watch for large trucks entering and leaving the construction site.
