Collins is an Aurora native.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Democratic Party has announced that Hunter Collins, a labor organizer and Hoosier, is officially running for Indiana House District 68 in the 2026 election.
A campaign kickoff event will be held at Proof 124 Table & Tavern in Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, July 23 at 6:00 PM.
Collins, 27, lives in Aurora with his wife Haylee and their daughter Johanna.
As a warehouse lead at Amazon Air and an organizer with Teamsters Local 89, Collins has spent the last two years on the front lines of one of the most high-profile labor fights in America — the effort to unionize Amazon.
“I’ve gone up against one of the largest corporations in the world on behalf of working people,” said Collins. “Now, I’m bringing that same fight to Indianapolis to stand up for working families in Southeast Indiana.”
Collins' campaign is focused on real issues that impact everyday Hoosiers — including lowering taxes, restoring infrastructure, and fully funding public schools and essential services.
