Hoosier Lottery Combined Jackpots At $769 Million

By Travis Thayer  (Indianapolis, Ind.) – Hit the jackpot in Indiana this weekend, and instantly become a millionaire. The Hoosier Lottery has announced that its combined jackpots for its Mega Millions, Powerball and Hoosier Lotto drawings is estimated to be $769.3 million. The $393 million Mega Millions jackpot will be drawn Friday night around 11:00 p.m. Odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 258,890,850. On Saturday, the $356 million Powerball will be drawn along with the $20.3 million Hoosier Lotto. Hoosier Lottery distributions benefit every county throughout Indiana. The Hoosier Lottery contributes $30 million annually to local police and firefighters’ pensions and $30 million annually to the Teachers’ Retirement Fund. In 2016, the Hoosier Lottery also contributed $251.2 million to the Build Indiana Fund.
