(Cincinnati, Oh.) – Next Spring the Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati will open, and they are hiring hundreds of workers now.
Online hiring will run August 22 through September 16 for about 750 card dealers, table game workers, and select management roles. The new employees will staff 85 table games and a 31-table poker room inside the $400 million, 24-hour casino.
“If you have a great attitude and a genuine style for providing memorable customer service, you should apply,” said Horseshoe Senior Vice President and General Manager Kevin Kline.
The casino will accept online applications at www.HorseshoeCincinnati.com. Prior casino experience is not necessary, but there are some qualifications prospective employees need to meet:
Age 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Willing to attend several weeks of free training on their own time prior to the casino opening.
Will submit to a drug test and background check.
Become licensed by the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
Thousands of applications are expected by the casino management. Before it opened last May, the Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland received more than 70,000 applications for 1,600 positions.
Later this year, the casino will begin to hire 500 food and beverage workers. About 1,700 people will be employed when the casino opens its doors to the public in 2013.
