HDT Global Creating 100+ Jobs In Boone Co.

A $14.5 million improvement plan will begin next year at the company's Florence facility.

(Florence, Ky.) – Over 100 full-time jobs are being created at a Florence manufacturing facility.

On Thursday, Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin announced that HDT Global is set for a $14.5 million improvement project. HDT Global is a producer of state-of-the-art engineered shelters, generators, heaters, air filtration devices, robotics and other technology. U.S. and allied military units, civilian, government and commercial customers worldwide use the company’s products.

With the expansion comes 113 new, full-time jobs at the Industrial Road facility. Company leaders expect to create manufacturing and management positions among other roles.

“HDT Global does incredible work to ensure our nation’s military is equipped with the best technology, and we are proud the company has a home in Kentucky,” Gov. Bevin said. “Theses 113 jobs being created in Boone County underscore the company’s strong commitment to the commonwealth. We are grateful for HDT’s substantial investment and job creation and congratulate the Northern Kentucky region on this new opportunity.”

HDT Global currently employs around 166 people at their Florence location.
