Hanover College Student Arrested for Campus Assault

Indiana State Police-Versailles led the investigation of the fall 2023 incident.

(Hanover, Ind.) – An Indiana man has been arrested following an incident that occurred on the campus of Hanover College in the fall of 2023.

Jackson Kruer, 22, of Clark County has been charged with Rape (Level 3 Felony).

In September 2023, the Indiana State Police-Versailles Post was contacted to investigate an alleged sexual assault that occurred on the campus.

The investigation indicated that in the early morning hours of September 17, 2023, Kruer and an adult female student left an on-campus party together.

Both students walked to the female’s dorm room where she was allegedly sexually assaulted by Kruer.

Kruer was arrested in Clark County on Tuesday and was transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where he is held pending an initial appearance in court.
