Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue Planned for This Saturday

(Greendale, Ind.) - Five beautiful homes in the City of Greendale, Indiana will open their doors to visitors this Saturday for a special one-day home tour event. Greendale’s third-annual Christmas on the Avenue will take place in this historic Southeast Indiana community on Saturday, December 9.

WHAT: Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue

WHEN: Saturday, December 9

TIME: 5-9pm

WHERE: Five featured homes located along Oakey and Ludlow Avenues, Greendale, Indiana

COST: $20 Adults, $10 Children 6-12, Children under 6 free

TICKETS: www.dearborncountyhs.org  

The five festively-decorated properties highlight the “new” style of homes built in the years following the 1937 flood and World War II, and range in size and architectural style reflective of the era.

Participants can check in and pick up wristbands from 4:30-8pm at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 570 Sheldon Street, Greendale. All proceeds from Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue benefit the Dearborn County Historical Society for upkeep of the Vance-Tousey House and Angevine Cabin.
