Police say Ronald L. Rose was paid over $12,000 between April and May for work he never completed.

(Greendale, Ind.) - A Greendale man is accused of home improvement fraud.
Ronald L. Rose, 33, was arrested on June 13 and charged with Corrupt Business Influence (level 5 felony), Home Improvement Fraud (level 6 felony), Theft (level 6 felony), Money Laundering (level 6 felony) and Dealing in Marijuana (class A misdemeanor).
Lawrenceburg Police began investigating the allegations in early May after a Lawrenceburg home owner reported they paid Rose $2,325 to complete roof repairs, but he never started the job.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Rose received payment for seven different jobs between April 3 to May 3, totaling $12,505. Police say he completed little to none of the work.
However, home improvement work was being done at his own home on Hayes Street in Greendale when police executed a search warrant on June 13.
During a search of the home, police say they located records pertaining to Rose's construction businesses that were consistent with the seven jobs he was paid for in April and May. Rose was also found in possession of marijuana and marijuana containers.
Rose made his initial appearance in Dearborn Superior Court II on Wednesday.
