Greencastle Man Arrested Following Shooting Incident in SEI

The arrest was made three days after the incident.

(Greensburg, Ind.) - On the morning of April 27, the Greensburg Police responded to the 1000 block of East North Street for a report of a male that had been injured by a gunshot. 

Investigative information and evidence provided that Gregory D. Trimble, 22, of Greencastle, Indiana had came to the victim’s house where a physical altercation ensued and as a result, the victim was shot. 

With the help of other law enforcement agencies, Trimble was place in custody on Thursday morning after he was located in Kentucky - where he had an additional warrant for his arrest. 

Charges against Trimble have not been announced.
