Two pets passed away in the fire.

(Aurora, IN) - According to Dearborn County Dispatch, a call regarding a structure fire came in at 6:32 p.m. on Tuesday. A witness explained seeing smoke coming from the back of the home. As first responders arrived flames were visible inside the home. Two pets passed away in the fire.
Michelle Emmert (Workman), her husband Dan Emmert, and their two children, Chase and Kennedy, lost everything in the house fire on Conwell Street in Aurora, Indiana. The fire destroyed their home and all their belongings.
Currently, Michelle, Dan, Chase, and Kennedy are displaced and in urgent need of support. They require everything from clothing and personal items to assistance in finding a new place to live. Donations will go directly toward providing essentials, securing temporary housing, and helping them begin the process of finding a new home.
