(Friendship, Ind.) - Friendship State Bank, a community bank led by the Lemon family for 103 years, proudly employees 97 people at six different branches. Bank employees’ average tenure is 10.5 year. CEO, James Lemon has served the longest at 40 years. The annual Christmas party included recognition of employees’ milestone work anniversaries. Seven were recognized for five years of service and eight for ten years of service. Donna Dickerson (Receptionist/Accounts Payable Clerk), Kim Foley (Versailles Branch Manager), April Hautman (Rising Sun Loan Officer), Tom Lewis (Dillsboro Insurance Agent), Dee Livingston (Mortgage Originator), Terri Lohrum (Compliance and BSA officer) and Sarah Robbins (Collections Representative) celebrated 15 years. Angie Althoff (Customer Service Center Assistant Manager) and LaDessia Thayer (Systems Administrator) were recognized for 20 years of dedication. Chris Meyer, COO, and Heather Rump, Human Resources Generalist, thank LaDessia Thayer for 20 years of dedicated service to The Friendship State Bank. Fifteen and 20-year employees received a personalized gift depending on their personal interests. These gifts varied from golf packages at PGA courses to full days at the spa. “I’ve been with Friendship State Bank since August 24, 2000. I received a picnic set and a gift certificate to Coach,” Hautman shared. “My husband and I love to take short trips on the motorcycle and sometimes will stop to picnic. This will come in very handy and is a very thoughtful gift. I’m looking forward to using the Coach certificate without feeling the pinch in my own wallet.” Employees shared that FSB’s reputation and sense of family have led to their commitment to FSB and customers. “I truly like this company. They are very family oriented,” Foley shared. “They make you feel like you are a part of the family.” “The bank’s reputation is above all others,” Hautman said. “The bank treats its employees with the utmost respect and generosity.
