The 13-year-old bloodhound passed away from medical issues on May 11.

Raiko began her career with the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office in July of 2012, and her primary duties were to locate missing persons, suspects, and evidence. Raiko also assisted police agencies in neighboring communities.

Raiko was also active in the public at schools, fairs, and community events over the years. She interacted with everyone that she could.

Major Ben McBroom was her K-9 handler and the two of them helped train other police agencies in the U.S. as well as the U.S. military.
