Friends of Lauren Hill Memorial Park Gearing Up for One-Year Anniversary Celebration

The event will take place on April 22.

(Greendale, Ind.) – The Friends of Lauren Hill Memorial Park will celebrate its one-year anniversary this month.

A celebration will be held on Saturday, April 22 at the park on Fairway Drive.

For the anniversary celebration, volunteers are welcome to help with maintenance around the park or help create and fix up the mountain bike trail. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, shovels, rakes, trimmers, etc. Work will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  

At noon, free pizza and water will be provided.

The event will also feature multiple pet-related vendors, prize baskets and FOLH merchandise.

The large dog area is expected to reopen as well.
