The deadline is January 21.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - Franklin County Circuit Court Clerk Neysa Raible is reminding county residents that the deadline is approaching for all candidate committees, current elected office holders (income over $5,000 per year) and political action committees to file annual campaign finance reports.
The deadline January 21 by noon.
Raible stated that the Clerk's Office wants to emphasize the importance of compliance with applicable campaign finance requirements. By law, a fine of $50 per calendar day will be applied (maximum of $1,000) for reports filed past the deadline.
Failure to timely file a campaign finance report may also subject you to criminal penalties. If your report is found to be defective, you may be fined $10 per calendar day (maximum of $100) for failure to correct the report in a timely manner. Penalties can also be imposed for other campaign finance violations that can result in even higher civil penalties.

The Franklin County Clerk’s office is open from 8:30 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
