Five northern Kentucky fire departments came to help extinguish a fire on Empire Drive.

(Florence, Ky.) - Firefighters from around Boone County had to douse a big fire in Florence Thursday.
The blaze was at an environmental recycling facility on Empire Drive.
Firefighters worked through difficult conditions to get the fire under control. Nobody was hurt, but the building suffered significant damage.
In all, five fire departments responded. Florence was assisted by crews from Independence, Elsmere, Erlanger and CVG Airport Fire Departments, as well as Boone County Emergency Management.
The fire remains under investigation.
