Expect single right lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

(Petersburg, Ky.) – Crews are back on I-275 Carroll Cropper Bridge today and tomorrow.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a drain cleaning maintenance project will require right lane closures on the bridge.
The KYTC structures crew began working on the eastbound drains on Wednesday, July 24, utilizing a lane closure already in place due to a routine bridge inspection.
Motorists should expect a single right lane closure during the working hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The eastbound right lane is closed today, while the westbound right lane will be closed on Friday.
This drain clearing work is necessary to ensure safe travel for the hundreds of thousands of motorists that use this bridge crossing every week.
Motorists should expect delays during working hours and find an alternate route. Please, drive carefully through the project area to keep our crews safe.
Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed Friday, July 26.
