Dillsboro's First Police K-9 Passes Away

Rest easy Chevy.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – Dillsboro’s first ever Police K-9 has passed away.

The Dillsboro Police Department reported Tuesday the death of Chevy.

Chevy served the PD from November 12, 2012, until retiring on January 1, 2020.

In addition to working the road, Chevy assisted with school searches in Dearborn, Ripley, Ohio and Decatur counties.
