Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce to Host Pre-Legislative Luncheon

The annual event takes place December 18 at Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg's Riverfront Campus.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Southeast Indiana state lawmakers will be in Lawrenceburg in December to prereview the 2025 state legislative session and discuss the impacts it will have on local businesses and communities.

The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Pre-Legislative Luncheon presented by Duke Energy at the Ivy Tech Riverfront Campus in Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, December 18th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with state legislators about what they hope to accomplish in the coming session, how it will impact local business leaders and their goals for 2025. Newly elected State Representative Garrett Bascom and State Senator Randy Maxwell will be in attendance.

“The Chamber continues to play a critical role in connecting local leaders and businesses to key decisionmakers at all levels of government,” said Kylie Foster, government and community relations manager for Duke Energy. “We’re happy to support an event where the community can hear from our state legislators and learn about their work in the recent legislative session.”

The event is free and open to the public thanks to the support of Duke Energy. Lunch will be provided by Savor the Flavor courtesy of Ivy Tech. In order to attend you MUST REGISTER in advance.
