Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce Announces 2025 Women of Distinction

Luncheon to be held on October 16 at Lawrenceburg Event Center.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Civista Bank, is proud to announce the honorees for the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards. Now in its 19th year, this prestigious event recognizes women who have made significant contributions to the community through leadership, service, and dedication.

This year’s honorees are: Angela Roberts, Tamara Taylor and Suzanne Webster

Each of these distinguished individuals has demonstrated exceptional commitment to their professions and the broader Dearborn County community, setting a high standard for others to follow.

The honorees will be recognized at the annual Women of Distinction Luncheon presented by Civista Bank on Thursday, October 16th, at the Lawrenceburg Event Center. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 AM, providing an opportunity for attendees to celebrate the achievements of these exemplary women and hear their inspiring stories.

The Chamber is thrilled to welcome Dr. Sue Ellspermann as the keynote speaker for the event. Dr. Ellspermann recently retired as president of Ivy Tech Community College, the nation’s largest statewide, singly accredited community college. From 2012-2016, she served with Governor Mike Pence as Indiana’s 50th Lieutenant Governor. She was first elected in 2010 as District 74 State Representative. Previously, Sue served as the University of Southern Indiana’s Founding Director of the Center for Applied Research and Economic Development and operated Ellspermann and Associates, Inc. focused on creative problem solving and strategic planning consulting. Early in her career, Sue held IE positions at GM, Michelin and Frito-Lay. She earned a BS in Industrial
