(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Tri-State Antique Market returns July 4th to the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds for a day of treasure hunting in the free market at its finest. Following its usual first Sunday off the month format, the July Market typically falls on or around the 4th and is considered a high point of midsummer antiquing in the region with friends and families looking for something fun to do before the cookouts and fireworks displays later in the evening. With over 200 vendors selling a wide array of vintage and retro collectibles at a variety of price points, there’s sure to be something for everyone there.

Furnishings, jewelry, historical Americana, architectural salvage, garden décor, and pop culture memorabilia will all be for sale from the 1700s through the 1980s. Stylish, durably built and American made are hallmarks of antique items, and there’s no better place to find them than buying locally at the Market. The saying holds true: they don’t make it like they used to.

The Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds is conveniently located in southeast Indiana, approximately one mile west of exit 16 off I-275. The location is within minutes of both the Ohio and Kentucky borders. The fairgrounds is handicap accessible and offers amenities like modern restrooms, paved walkways, large open-air pavilions, and free parking. The five acre park also offers shaded rest areas and a variety of local food vendors selling food and refreshments.

Official Market hours are from 7 AM to 3 PM ET. “Earlybird” shoppers are admitted during vendor set up at 6 AM ET. A walk-in $4.00 admission (over age 17) is charged at all times. Attended pets and children are welcome. Over half of the Market’s vendors display indoors or under cover, so the event is held “rain or shine.”

Complete Tri-State Antique Market information, including detailed directions, area accommodations, and photos of past Market finds is available at www.lawrenceburgantiqueshow.com and the Facebook page under Tri-State Antique Market, or by contacting promoter Aaron Metzger at (513) 702-2680 or info@lawrenceburgantiqueshow.com. Later 2021 Market dates include Sundays August 1, September 5, and October 3.
