Brookville Town Council Vacancy Filled

A caucus was held this week to fill the vacancy left by Bridget Hayes.

(Brookville, Ind.) - This week, a caucus was held to fill the vacant seat on Brookville Town Council. 

Republican precinct committee members selected Fred Neeley to replace Bridget Hayes, who resigned last month. 

Neeley has spent over two decades of his life as a public servant. He spent 24 years as a full-time police officer and three years as a reserve instruction officer for the Brookville Police Department. 

Neeley's appointment to Town Council is effective immediately after being sworn in by County Clerk Neysa Raible.
