Boone Co. ENGAGE Program Offers Look Into County Government Operations

The free, nine-week program is open to county residents or business owners.

(Boone County, Ky.) – Are you interested in learning more about County Government operations?

Boone County residents and business owners are invited to participate in a free, nine-week Citizens Academy called ENGAGE.

The educational program features weekly presentations on all operations of county government, including guided tours of government facilities.

The goal of the program is to educate participants about each county department and elected offices.

ENGAGE will begin January 10, meeting once a week on Monday nights and a few Thursday nights from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

To participate, you must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation, be a resident of Boone County or a business owner.

Applications are available at Boone County ENGAGE Program: a Governmental Citizens Academy is Now Accepting Applications for the 2022 Class (boonecountyky.org).
