BODY CAM FOOTAGE: Four Juveniles Arrested Following Burglary, Police Pursuit In NKY

The juveniles face attempted murder after striking a Boone County Sheriff's Lieutenant.

(Boone County, Ky.) - Four juvenile suspects are in custody after a burglary and high speed chase through northern Kentucky. 

Boone County Sheriff's deputies responded to Twin Hills Court in Union on Friday around 10:39 p.m. for a reported burglary in progress with a stolen vehicle from a residence. 

Investigators say the juveniles entered an unlocked vehicle and found a garage door opener, which led them to another unlocked vehicle in the garage. 

Deputies quickly located the stolen Audi SUV on Rice Pike and attempted to stop the vehicle on U.S> 42. The vehicle nearly struck a cruiser as it fled on U.S. 42 from Union towards Florence. 

Lieutenant Chris Hall positioned himself on U.S. 42 at Interstate 75 to deploy stop sticks. The fleeing vehicle struck Hall as he was outside his cruiser, and the suspects continued northbound on I-75.

Hall suffered injures to his arms and legs and was transported to UC Medical Center. He was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.  

The suspect vehicle exited the interstate at Erlanger and the suspects continued to flee on foot in the area of Commonweath Avenue and Baker Street. 

The four juvenile suspects were taken into custody Saturday around 1:20 a.m. The suspects had previously been picked up by a male and female through a community ride sharing page. 

Deputies located and stopped the vehicle on Riggs Road. The driver, who had no affiliation with the suspects, immediately complied with law enforcement and will not face criminal charges.  

The suspects are lodged at Campbell County Juvenile Detention Center and face charges of Attempted Murder and Receiving Stolen Property.
