The three week project is scheduled to start on April 10.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – An aerial tree trimming project will take place in southeast Indiana next week.
Indiana Michigan Power (I & M) announced today that trimming near high voltage transmission lines will start on Monday, April 10.
Aerial trimming will take place in Dearborn, Franklin and Ripley counties, in addition to Decatur, Shelby, Rush, Hancock, Union, Fayette, Wayne, Randolph, Henry and Delaware.
The work is routine maintenance to remove overhanging or encroaching branches that can interfere with reliable energy delivery.
Aerial Solutions Inc. will perform the work using a helicopter-based saw. This technique is faster and more easily reaches offroad areas than traditional trimming.
Work will last three weeks, weather permitting.
