Pistol Annies Reveal Meaning Behind "Got My Name Changed Back"

It's about heartbreak, and one prominent band member's high-profile breakup.

(Undated)  --  The Pistol Annies are revealing the meaning behind their song "Got My Name Changed Back."

Fans speculated that it was about member Miranda Lambert's split from her ex-husband, Blake Shelton.

Lambert said in a video shared on the group's YouTube channel, though, that it about a way of reclaiming your sense of humor after dealing with heartbreak.

Member Ashley Monroe also said that she feels it's important for the trio to tackle real issued and talk about things they dealt with in their lives.

"Got My Name Changed Back" comes from Pistol Annies' album, Interstate Gospel
