Confederate Railroad Bass Player, Wayne Secrest, Dies

His bandmates shared the news on Facebook over the weekend. 

(Undated)  --  One of the founding members of the country-rock group, Confederate Railroad, is dead at the age of 68. 

Bass player Wayne Secrest passed away after a long-fought illness. 

Confederate Railroad was founded in 1987 and served as the backing band for David Allen Coe and Johnny Paycheck before signing with Atlantic Records five years later.
