Please join us for a viewing of the brand new documentary The Working Hungry followed by an important discussion about food insecurity in our community.
In the 30-minute film, The Working Hungry, you will hear the stories of three families, and through them, the voices of more than 700,000 people across the state of Indiana who are food insecure, and most of these are working families, and their hunger is hidden from those around them.
In a time of low unemployment and food abundance, why is this happening – and what can be done? In The Working Hungry, you’ll hear about the reality of food insecurity in Indiana, and what more can be done to change the narrative and truly find solutions to decrease hunger and food insecurity.
