(Versailles, Ind.) - One of the top swimmers at South Ripley High School will continue his athletic career at the collegiate level.
Evan Eaglin recently signed his letter of intent to swim at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio.
Eaglin started his swimming career at the club level at the age of 11. He finished his high school career with two individual school records and in all relays, and has been the top points-MVP at South Ripley.
This past season, Eaglin was the ORVC Champion in the 50 Yard Free and as a member of South Ripley's 400 Yard Free Relay team. He was also named the Co-Mental Attitude awardee along with Milan's Dylan Thomas.
Eaglin plans to pursue an education in History Education at Heidelberg.
