(Aurora, Ind.) – The emergence of Esports has provided students another pathway to earning post-secondary education.
On Thursday, South Dearborn athletics announced the Logan Heeke has signed his letter of intent to join the Esports team at Thomas More University.
Heeke is a three-time Esports State Champion, who hopes to cap off his high school career with a fourth-straight championship.
Outside of Esports, Heeke lettered four years with the boys soccer team. He holds the single season record for saves (171) and career saves (321).
His strong goalkeeping abilities helped the Knights to two sectional titles in the last four years.
In the classroom, Heeke is a four-year academic scholar award winner.
