The IHSAA Swimming and Diving State Tournament is underway.

(Columbus, Ind.) - The IHSAA Boys Swimming and Diving State Tournament got underway over the weekend.
Most schools from southeastern Indiana traveled to Columbus North High School for Sectional 17, Team scores were as follows:
1) Bloomington South 500, 2) Bloomington North 326.5, 3) East Central 245.5, 4) Edgewood 184, 5) Columbus East 166, 6) Greensburg 165, 7) Columbus North 135, 8) Milan 129, 9) Batesville 120, 10) Oldenburg Academy 90, 11) South Dearborn 57, 12) Rising Sun 57, 13) South Ripley 35, 14) Lawrenceburg 16
Oldenburg Academy junior Nash King won the sectional title in the 200 Yard Individual Medley with a time of 1:50.97. King also won the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 50.25.
Milan sophomore Seth Thomas captured the sectional title in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:00.78.

Other southeastern Indiana teams were at Floyd Central for Sectional 18. Madison placed 4th with 150 points, Jennings County was 9th with 98 points, and Switzerland County was 14th with one point.
