Milan's Ben Riehle Commits to Marian University

(Milan, Ind.) - Milan cross country and track & field star Ben Riehle has made his college declaration. 

Riehle signed his letter of intent on Tuesday to continue his academic and athletic career at Marian University in Indianapolis. 

Marian is getting a gifted runner that won multiple championships in his time at Milan. Individually, Riehle is a three-time ORVC Cross Country Champion, two-time sectional champion, and was a state qualifier this fall finishing 101st out of 250 runners.

Over his four years, Riehle helped the Milan boys cross country team capture two ORVC titles and back-to-back sectional championships. 

In track and field, Riehle won the 100, 200, and 400 meter events at the 2023 ORVC Championship. He also helped the 1600 relay team to a conference championship in 2023. He was a part of five other conference meet wins in 2021 and 2022. 

At the state tournament level, Riehle won the 400 Meters in 2023, and the 200 and 400 Meters in 2022. 

He could add to his list of accomplishments when the track & field season comes around in spring 2024.
