Milan Softball Captures Sectional Title

(Milan, Ind.) - Milan has won 16 games in a row.

On Thursday night, the Lady Indians cruised to a sectional championship, defeating Trinity Lutheran 13-0.

Sophomore Jillianne Herd and senior Mallory Eaglin both drove in four runs in the win. Both had two hits with Eaglin homering.

Senior Kynadee Bode pitched a complete-game, five-hitter, striking out eight.

Milan is 29-4 going into the regional round. They will play the winner of North Decatur and Knightstown.
