VOLLEYBALL

IHSAA 3A Sectional 29 at Batesville – First Round

Lawrenceburg 3, Franklin County 0 – 25-7, 25-17, 25-13 – LHS started the postseason right thanks in part to 12 kills, 10 digs, and 2 aces from Cora Taylor. Grace Taylor added 14 digs and 4 kills. Emma Sandford posted 12 digs. Juliana Kemper had 9 kills, 3 aces and a block. Lawrenceburg (29-3) advances to play Madison in the sectional semi-finals on Saturday, October 13. Franklin County’s season ends with a 9-20 record.
