Girls Track and Field Regionals and Softball Sectional results.

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD

Regional 6 at Greenfield-Central

East Central finished 7th out of 24 teams. Batesville was 8th. 

East Central State Qualifiers

• 800m - Callie Bentley (Regional Champion), 2:16.84
• Pole Vault - Heather Albrinck (Regional Champion), 12-0
• Pole Vault - Addelyn Bittner (finished 3rd), 10-9
• 4x800 Relay team consisting of Natale Stenger (So), Leah Toney (Sr), Gabrielle Karle (Sr), and Callie Bentley (Sr). (3rd place), 9:21.02

Batesville State Qualifiers

• Shot Put - Ella King (2nd place), 42-9.75
• High Jump - Maycee Holtkamp (5th place), 5-3
• 4x800m relay team - Bayleigh Demaree, Caitlin Raver, Jayla Bedel, Ava Wade and alternates Paige Allgeier, Francesca Myers, Rosie Gilland and Audrey Dieckmann (5th place), 9:34.30

Oldenburg Academy State Qualifiers

• Discus - Rachel Suttman (Regional Champion), 126-9

Regional 7 at Bloomington North

Lawrenceburg placed 13th out of 33 schools. Switzerland County was 30th. 

Notable finishes:

• Alahna Beinkemper (LB): finished 4th in the Shot Put (36-9), 5th in the Discus (116-10), 6th in the Long Jump (15-11.50) and 12th in the High Jump (5-0)
• Triniti Blevins (SC): finished 7th in the 100 Meters (13.21)
• Addy Preston (SC): placed 9th in the Discus (106-10) and 10th in the Shot Put (33-6.25)
• Reva Geiser (SD): 11th in 1600 Meters (5:43.38)
• Avery Davies (RS): 13th in Long Jump (14-8)

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Whiteland - First Round

• The Lady Trojans advance to play Franklin Community in the semifinals on Wednesday at 8:00 PM

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Franklin County - Semifinals

Jennings County 16, Batesville 4

Greensburg 7, Lawrenceburg 1

• Championship game scheduled for Thursday at 6:00 PM

Class 2A Sectional 45 at Brownstown Central - Semifinals

Switzerland County 4, Southwestern (Hanover) 1
