The IHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament got underway on Tuesday night.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Class 4A Sectional 14 at East Central - First Round

Columbus East 41, Columbus North 33 

• Columbus East advances to play East Central in the semifinals on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM. 

Whiteland 63, Shelbyville 54

• Whiteland will play Franklin Community in the second semifinal on Friday. 

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Greensburg - First Round

Greensburg 43, Rushville 27

• Greensburg advances to play Lawrenceburg in the semifinals on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM. Eagle Country 99.3 will have the call. 

Class 2A Sectional 45 at South Ripley - First Round

North Decatur 62, Milan 57

• North Decatur will play Switzerland County in the semifinals on Friday. South Ripley and Hauser will contest the other semifinal starting at 6:00 PM. 

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Edinburgh - First Round

Morristown 66, Southwestern 51

• Morristown will play Oldenburg Academy in the semifinals on Friday at 6:00 PM. 

Class 1A Sectional 62 at New Washington - First Round

New Washington 49, Crothersville 41

• New Washington will play Rising Sun in the semifinals on Friday at 6:00 PM.

Trinity Lutheran 66, Shawe Memorial 52

• Trinity Lutheran advances to play Medora in the semifinals.
