Quad Meet at Batesville
Girls: Batesville 19, East Central 42, Oldenburg Academy and South Ripley INC
Boys: East Central 35, Batesville 40, South Ripley 53, Oldenburg Academy INC
Sophomore Ava Wade led the charge for the Bulldogs, securing the individual victory with a time of 20:36.6. She was closely followed by teammate Jayla Bedel, who took second place just seven seconds later at 20:44.1. East Central was led by a strong third-place individual finish from senior Lily Gambrel, who crossed the line at 21:38.3. Batesville then continued to pack the front of the field to seal their victory, with Francesca Myers (22:20.8) and Caitlin Raver (22:31.6) claiming fourth and fifth place, respectively. Alyssa Donawerth took the next position (23:06) followed by Oldenburg Academy's top runner, Josie Wenning.
Oldenburg Academy senior Carson Hartwell outpaced the field to cross the line first overall with a time of 18:37.2. South Ripley's Carter Yelton claimed the runner-up spot at 18:52.6, followed by a pair of Batesville runners, Levi Essick (19:03.1) and freshman Cael Luhman (19:09.7). East Central secured their team victory through incredible pack running, led by senior Abram Hiltz in fifth place (19:38.6) and Daniel Broering in sixth (19:40.1).
