BASEBALL

South Dearborn 15, Rushville 14 - The Knights trailed by one when Adam Kunkel singled home two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win the game in walk-off fashion. With the win, SD improves to 2-0 in the EIAC. 

Lawrenceburg 7, Greensburg 4

South Ripley 11, New Washington 0 – Bryce Franklin led the way with two hits and three RBIs. Cody Samples and Brady Linkel knocked in two runs each. Zach Gentile, Dalton Smith, and Cody Samples combined for the shutout.

Trinity Lutheran 2, Rising Sun 1 – Peyton Merica had the lone RBI for the Shiners.

Connersville 3, Batesville 2 – Max Baumer and Riley Zink with the RBIs for Batesville.

 

SOFTBALL

Franklin County 12, Richmond 0 – Bree Bischoff and Kloe Bolos had two hits and three RBIs each to power the Lady Wildcats. Maci Lake chipped in with two hits and two RBIs. Bischoff picked up the win in the pitching circle, going five innings with five strikeouts.

 

BOYS GOLF

East Central 191, Lawrenceburg 215 – East Central’s Peyton Hoog and Tigers freshman Cameron Williamson were co-medalist for the night with a 44.

 

GIRLS TENNIS

East Central 5, Milan 0 – The Lady Trojans improve to 2-0 on the season.

Franklin County 5, South Dearborn 0 

Lawrenceburg 5, Madison 0
